Being a family photographer and teacher is part of my calling.
When I was ten I circled a camera in the Sears Wish Book catalogue and crossed my fingers I’d get it for Christmas.
Nothing escaped my lens growing up. First is was the toy dinosaurs in my bedroom, then the forests and cities I explored on family trips, I even took my camera into mosh pits at rock concerts as a teenager.
My career path to becoming a teacher was thrown off course when I became a school portrait photographer to pay tuition.
After a couple of years of taking class photos in chaotic gyms, I left to start my own family photography business.

Along the journey, Naomi and I looked at our first ultrasound photos - four kids later, we haven't slept a wink since then!
I couldn't have predicted where that camera would take me when I unwrapped it for Christmas.

We each have the chance to contribute something unique to the world. I devote myself to photographing families and teaching anyone who picks up a camera to see where it leads them.
